$4,000? Pretty silly, considering how soft the ebay auctions have been for Presto 6Ns recently, and how funky this one looks...

I'm not going to pay an extra $3400 because it *might* have cut some Glenn Miller and Louis Prima records...

I liken it, in a way, to the patch trading that went on when I was at Jamboree in Boy Scouts.

Never seen one before, personally? It must be super rare!

Which Jamboree were you at? Maybe i traded some OOTA patches with you in 1994! Or maybe you were one of the dudes from alabama trading tiny bales of cotton?

I was at AP Hill in '98.

Cotton bales? Now that is creative. The best we had to go on was a misprint of our "Councitt" patch and the last of our discontinued Lodge flaps.

I was in the Wichita Lodge, which is the only one that I know of that only gave members ONE cloth patch for life... the rumor being that serious collectors would give you $1000+ for it (I never found anyone willing to pay close to that... haha). So we had some pretty smooth leather ones made up for tradin'. My parents brought me a box of Jambo stuff last time they came up here... pretty funny nostalgia trip.

We've got a system going where you get as many Blue-edged flaps as you can buy, and only one White-edged flap per Ordeal-Brotherhood-Vigil. Ideally each member should never have any more than three - most only two.
