SCAM : Neumann AM 32 B located in Glasgow

Stumbled on this beauty:

Neumann AM 32 B Master Stereo Disk Recording Lathe - £1500



You are looking on a Neumann AM32B stereo disk cutting lathe.
The three rack mount units pictured are: Automatic Pitch Amplifier SV32SR, Depth Control Amplifier SV32VR, and Integration Amplifier SV32T. We opened them, and all of the amplifiers appear to be complete, with all of the tubes in place. The Lyrec motor is pictured as well; we have not powered it, but the shaft turns very smoothly when manually rotated. There is no cutter head, and parts of the microscope are missing. You would also need to acquire a chip jar.

That is actually a VMS62 Special. The main difference between that and an AM132 is that the VMS62 Special has an LPI meter.

It's a scam is on it every 6 months or so
About a year ago He offered to send it out it to Australia via FedEx air freight at about €250 for about 800 lbs.
but it took about 20 emails to flush him her out

In general, I have a hard time trusting Craigslist exactly because of this sort of thing - and there's nothing to fall back on if it does turn sour.
