I also have an aluminum bracket made custom to my spec by a gentleman in China. Works fantastic with a high end cable and M97xE Shure Audiophile cart.

usually the tonearm is mounted on the back.
we have it mounted on the fronside using an aluminum angle.
we have it this way, cause we cut 70% pvc dubs on the vms and we want to monitor the cut.
having the tonearm on the back is just a pain, and it interferes with the head cartridge.
for 2 years now we have this "temporary" fix (the nice german wird is "provisorium"), which works,
but is not accurate or anything else. all it does, is tho discover skips on the cut. the sound is.....
