Hi at all,

i’m still looking for a Presto 1D in working condition and of course for a good price

If you have one for sale, please pm me your asking price + shipping to Germany. A payment via Paypal should be possible.

Preferably in the EU, but i know that the chances are not so good..

Pretty sure piaptk has a 6N, K8 and RekOKut waiting for new owners. I know that doesn't necessarily help with the search for your 1D... Thought I'd toss it out there anyway. Good luck!

Thanks for your input!

I already have a Rek O Kut Imperial II + Technics SP10 MK2. The Presto shall replace the original Audax head.

Right on. I think I'd still suggest hitting up piaptk (Mike) since he runs across all kinds of crazy lathe related stuff. While I am pretty sure he doesn't have a 1D kicking around I wouldn't be surprised if he stumbles across one at some point.

If I come across anything in my travels I'll be sure to send it along. Best of luck!

I’m lathe rich and cutter head poor. I could use about 8 more 1ds myself. Unfortunately they aren’t available, especially at a “good price”

Here is hoping that your new workshop changes all of that!

Thanks to both of you.

Don't get me wrong, i don't want it for free. The last time i was on the search for a 1D - 2,5 years ago - i had offers up to $1200. And that's definitely more than i want to pay.
