All original parts and cards, powers up, capstan motor runs but transport buttons, one is lit, do not function and lever switch moves as if it is not attached to the shaft of the switch pot. I've never tried to repair it, it came to me that way, the owner passed away before it became mine. selling as is. In San Francisco, Ca area. make offer

What you have there is a Telefunken M10 1/4" tape machine with Preview for disc cutting, mounted inside a Neumann MT70s cabinet.

Neumann did the same thing with the MT75 cabinet (similar design to yours) which housed the Telefunken M15 and - I think - the MT79 (with similar design to VMS80) which housed the Telefunken M15A.

Outlaw Design in The Netherlands is a good source for Telefunken M10 and M15 parts and manuals. https://www.odnd.nl

This M10A is a "B wind" deck where the tape oxide faces out instead of in. Telefunken/AEG didn't make audio electronics for this model. In the SP66 console which has an M10A deck built in, the audio electronics were made by a third party whose name escapes me. It looks like there is a power supply in the cabinet with some cards in a cage. It would be interesting to know what the audio electronics are.
