use these to set your EQ... Cut them to record, and play back through an osciloscope, or frequency analyzer. Compare with the ones on the cd, and make adjustments until they are very close to matching.
Playback the tones on acetate through a turntable hooked up to a turntable preamp. compare the tones (on disc with inverse riaa, then through riaa premap) to the originals (no riaa). They should be about the same. if not, adjust the EQ until they are the same..
