Bizarre Ebay Auctions

A spot for keeping track of especially cool (informative, fun) videos, photos, scans and other links about record cutting. (You can post them in other sections. Eventually they may end up here.) NOTE: Please put *Circuits, Schematics and Manuals* in the section with that name.

Here's a strange one:

"Paul Linda McCartney record pressing plant labels w/ polyvinyl vinyl 45 rpm SUZY"

This is a vinyl biscuit sandwiched between two record labels (in other words, a record that hasn't been pressed) with a starting bid of $2,000.

The artist is Suzy And The Red Stripes (actually Paul McCartney and Wings).

If an unpressed record can be worth this much, record plant owners could make a fortune from rejects.
