Here's scans of the documentation of my Royce senior traverser, an Australian overhead that i picked up in the classifieds here not too long ago.

Hey mate, I have the same traversing mechanism with cutter head on a 17” platter mounted to plinth with motor as seen in diagram at bottom of the first image.
I have some more documentation, that could attach to the thread.
Im yet to make a cut on it as I’m still getting my head around it all.

Mine has been in stored away since i bought it last year cause of moving/building a new house but i just made some place for it last week, so i will set it up again.
can be nice to compare notes...
