Re: My Cutter Head prototype
Weight and power of channels ?
Re: My Cutter Head prototype
5watts per channel at 8 ohms , weight around of 600 gramsstudiorp wrote:Weight and power of channels ?
Re: My Cutter Head prototype
600 grams ??? It's a big weight for a cutting head ... Why so ?
Re: My Cutter Head prototype
Keep up the good work!
Looking forward to the pro model :>)

Re: My Cutter Head prototype
Nice work
Is it made out of metal or plastic?
Does it have feedback?
Interested in sound samples and frequency curves...
All the best,
Lukas
Caruso Brass - 582g
Neumann SX74 - approx. 500g
Caruso Alu - 285g
Neumann ES59 - 230g
...

Re: My Cutter Head prototype
Very cool. Looking forward to seeing the progression!
Are you making your own coils or using an off the shelf speaker or transducer?

Re: My Cutter Head prototype
Torque tube material ? Brass perhaps or other ?
Re: My Cutter Head prototype
torque aluminum 5 milimeters like a westrex headstudiorp wrote:Torque tube material ? Brass perhaps or other ?
Re: My Cutter Head prototype
new update at my head prototype
Now I add a system for variable depth at the top of the head
it passes right through the torque tube without touching,
this is made with a tip of pencil but it can be changed easily by glass or ruby.
(the ball in the pen not scratch the material looking at microscopy this is a 0,3mm)
this stage on plastic prototype is finished successfully, now IM waiting for the
aluminum parts of the coils and the rest of the head to make a complete semi-pro version.
the size of the head now is more small.
sorry for my inglish.
