I do not have a cutter yet, but would be interested in purchasing some blanks anyway, but am in no hurry right now. I can use them either for experimentation or even as being collectible, plus I may know others who might be interested in purchasing a few. If, and whenever, you need more buyers, let me know.

heating technique
have you guys considered the possibility of using a laser, perhaps the kind WickedLaser produces to heat the area immediately before the stylus itself and use some kind of diffuse method to control the temperature at the contact point, and some form of lens to widen it if you wanted to also bring the temp down?
I know thats probably far fetched and perhaps more hassle than anyone would want to go through. My concern would be catching any chip on fire. those wicked lasers are pretty awesome. I guess another problem is keeping one of those units cool while you are cutting a full 12" side. Many of the lasers in their line are not intended to do more than 45-60 seconds, if that.
just a thought.

12-inch blanks for sale
I bought 8 more quantity than I need of the 12-inch 180-gram blanks, in an effort to help dietrich10 meet his minimum required quantity to press them.dietrich10 wrote:yes i will be out of stock after two people confirm their orders
My cost per disc, including the shipping I am paying, was US $4.66 per disc.
I will sell these 8 blanks to anyone who wants them for US $4.66 each plus actual cost of shipping. (In USA, media rate is cheapest of course.)
I can accept payment via paypal (or well-concealed US cash, or US money order).
PM me if you want to buy some from me, with the quantity you want (8 or less), and your address (including country), and I'll send you the total cost with shipping, & payment info.

cutting performance
Has anyone cut these yet? What are the results?
Ok the next batches to the us have gone out.
Another two more batches of 5 to go out next week.
And then all we have to do is wait for the feedback forms.
