WTB: Lathe ! PLEASE HELP!
Hello,
I'm looking to buy a lathe, but am finding it difficult to find one!
I am really keen on the AM44 , have made enquiries...but as yet no luck. But I am obviously open to all good suggestions.
I am a musician (and engineer) with a small analogue recording studio, where I carefully master to a 1/4" Studer A80. I would now like to cut these recordings to vinyl.
I'm located in UK but can travel.
Does anyone please have any suggestions, hints, tips , ideas for me on where I can find a lathe for sale.
Many thanks,
Jay

You should travel to Germany and try to get training from Souri and buy one from VinylRecorder.comJay Diggins wrote: I'm located in UK but can travel.

Re: WTB: Lathe ! PLEASE HELP!
if you want a professional quality master machine for cutting,
the AM44 will be the best option.
The market for professional machines (for example neumann or scully lathes) is very small
at the moment...
It will be hard, to get something good for a decent price...
good luck!

Hello Jay,
I can supply a complete, turnkey AM44 system for professional mastering work. I also have a few other lathes I could offer, either complete systems or partial, depending on your requirements.
In addition, I can optionally offer training on the use and maintenance of professional disk mastering systems and can also offer repair services if needed.
Please call me on +44 (0) 1525591020 or email me (info@agnewanlog.com) to discuss the matter in further detail. It is not hard to get a good machine if you know who to ask!

I think you have a mistake in your email, I assume it should be info@agnewanalog.comjesusfwrl wrote:Hello Jay,
