Souri Lathe - Noisy cuts
So I have been having some issues lately.
I have been getting noisy cuts after only x 10 cuts through the machine, lots of surface noise which has never happened before, does seem to be on one side each time and I cant seem to get to the bottom of it.
I have wasted x 4 new styluses doing this. I recalibrate the machine every time, make sure the head/needle is central to the middle of the turntable, making sure the angle is correct and also checking the weights regularly.
I have changed the oil in the dashpot and also cleaned the lead screw.
Is there anything I am missing?
I'm using My shank blanks and I recently purchased a synthetic stylus and the same thing has happened. I have also switched over to Souri blanks just to see if that was the problem and the same problem is happening.
The only thing now is that the head possibly has a problem causing it to damage the stylus.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated

I have it sometimes in left channel only. Minimizing with recalibration after recalibration.
