Well. The time has come for me to figure out this leadscrew. Ive actually been playing with chatgpt lately and asked it what it thought the pitch was. I think it got it wrong, not suprising with the results ive gotten with chat prior.
I'm kind of using chat purely for fun. I don't think its all its cracked up to be yet. But it can be useful as a tool from time to time. Ill leave that at that.
Anyways it guessed at 20TPI, however I counted 18. But proceeded to tell me the 8dg commonly came with a 20TPI which i believe to be false. But not much more then a year or so ago it had no idea what I was talking about. Which is a pretty impressive leap
Anyway, can anyone prove this machine wrong?
