1930s EMI Dictation Machine

Anything goes! Inventors! Artists! Cutting edge solutions to old problems. But also non-commercial usage of record cutting. Cost- effective, cost-ineffective, nutso, brilliant, terribly fabulous and sometimes fabulously terrible ideas.

So I got this a few years ago from a Deceased Estate I was working on. I originally thought it was a Lathe but turns out it’s a Magnetic Recorder.

But now I think it will be the Base of what I build my Lathe out of.

Anyone have any experience with one of these? ?Image
