Presto K8 or K10
So my beautiful K10 screw is an inside out - can any of you fine people supply me with an outside in?
Re: Presto K8 or K10
Just to be clear, you're talking about the cog that goes on the platter stem, correct? Yours only came with the one cog?

When you open the k8 the outside in screw is clipped to the underside of where the turntable platter is

Good luck, hopefully someone here has one. In the past few years I've been watching eBay I've never seen the cogs for sale by themselves and about half of the K10 units that I've seen have been missing 1 or more of them. Some folks don't know what they are and with them being brittle I'm sure some were ruined and thrown out.Voxster1965 wrote:This is correct rsimms3

Oh jeez...that sucks. flip the motor upside down (might be tricky) and flip your needle backwards and adjust the angle backwards and play all your recorded music backwards and BOOM! Back in business. No seriously if you sucessfully do all that i will personally deliver joana to your doorstep.
