12-inch Dinker/Label Punch
Hello,
Does anyone know where, in the U.S., to get an automatic dinker to punch out labels on 12-inch records? P.M. me, if you prefer. Thank you for your help!

Not the most affordable solution but there you have it.

Re: 12-inch Dinker/Label Punch
Thank you! I wonder how difficult it would be to make one.
Re: 12-inch Dinker/Label Punch
Drill press, a hole saw, HSS is good enough, some 105-115mm in diameter and some pull down jig to keep the records in place so they don't fly away.

We had one custom made by a local company, its not automatic but it works with both trimmed and untrimmed records.

Thank you, both, very much. Wouldn't a saw produce a lot of shavings and dust?
The Speedex is what we're looking for! Being in the U.S. though, shipping would be expensive. I'll look into it. Thank you, again!

Yup.. Dust maybe (it shouldnt), shavings for sure... The hole saw needs to be the kind for cutting plastics anyway, so the shavings will be quite big and clean. You need to do the dirty deed away from the process anyway. The grinder itself will generate a lot more dusty junk anyway.
