I've only cut laquer, and I love it.. Although I'm interested in the plastic too.
I just received an order from apollo, with some reference-lites. I'm going to cut a scratch plate, and see how they hold up, then I'll vote..

Have you tried the reference-lites yet? I've been thinking about trying those also.
