for every person that insults the vinyl recorder there are two or three people that will say it is a great machine. I know several businesses that use it and think it's a beautiful piece of work.
in a community that is so small, kind words are always welcome. It seems like you're honestly trying to scare people away from the vinyl recorder...but what's the point? There are so few record cutters out there, and as every vinyl collector knows, it's less about the machine and more about the person cutting the record.

It might be more about the person than the machine, but you need a machine that works, and is capable of providing state-of-the-art results. You also need a machine that you can get blank discs for, and I believe this is the reason for the criticism levelled at the Vinylrecorder.
In Australia we have a law under the Trade Practises Act that forbids a manufacturewr like Vinylrecorder from NOT supplying the consumables (in this case, black discs) to the customer. As mentioned, this practise has put some owners of theis machine out of business and so as an Australian, I am not impressed by such business practices and undewrstand the criticsm.
Think about it... he sells you the machine and but then refuses to sell you more blank discs, knowing he will put you out of business????? Who exactly does he think he is!!!

yes i also think the machine is not the problem. it is not that bad at all. it just has its limits. and i think that should be mentioned clearly, discussed on technical facts, not on esotheric, emotional basis .
its more the attitude of the creator.. sometimes it appears that he sells just to brainwashed people (sorry i dont want to insult someone)...
but you can read on almost any website of a vinylrecorder studio the same blabla bla about crazy recording levels, non feedback cuttings and more. so you get the idea he sells only, if you commit to tell all that eso-blabla.
and if someone is leaving the sect, he dont get any blanks. also other people dont get anything. so what? why would it bother if you use his blanks on a presto?
for me this is the main reason not to buy it.

I bought the system a pair of months ago and the sound is great if someone wants a high level cuts and cheap use a Grampian Head and no problem the fact that is Mono so less technical problems I cutted many years with a Grampian system and is OK,but for Stereo the Vynilium is the Top one little step below of Newmann quality,i read the problem with Vnylium is that cuts Laquers sure that they are working in order to cut PVC for Scrachers.You can see the system installed in my Web.

Overhead ????
Hi Guys. 
Don`t breack your Head is easy,the cutting system is complete Vinylium device but I use a Fairchild Mod.740 overhead,have all the LPI we can imagine and another technical spects differents adjustung for the Head etc.

Is an Steimberg Analizer obviously one the 50 different options that this sowtware provides,is in real time and is a big help.
