I just did a soundcheck again.A while ago I did a cut on a blue Vinyl
(B side) with a vinylium diamond and it sounds really good at least like polycarbonate.
So this has to be good:)

I'd try it but I'm afraid of the damage that may occur to the diamond.

Any word on lasting time if cut with the diamond? Or if sapphire would do the jobby job?
all the best!

right, this is a splendid initiative, and I would like to try it. I am putting some money where my mouth is, and I would like to order one box of 12" to be sent inside the European Union. I do not want to pay taxes on it, and certainly not to the tune of recorded music. VAT is o.k. and normal part of doing business (well, really of being a consumer, who pays it in the end), however actually that may be kept entirely out of the equation if the buyer is registered as a business. That saves on administration.

I shall PM the details (we are all a little secretive here, aren't we? and like the privacy),
thanks again,
Greybeard

@ greybeard
you post made me smile:)
I'm not secretive at all but this is just easier that way otherwise i have people in pm's and here ordering stuff and that's a pain to work out.
Let me know if you want a box .
As soon as we have enough interested people I will tell Mossy and sort it out with him.
Cheers

hey,

maybe lets get this thread alive... so situation should go more quicker....

As from other new posts about polycarbonate cutting and problems with them and mentioning that The Shank tested his diamond with pressed blanks and doing very nice cuts. So lets make the first test pressing to see the results.

I am in with:
7"
1 pack of black and 1 pack of blue
