That is kind of crazy.... I have 2 of those lathes and paid a great deal less than that. People might want it for playback?? Might have to sell at these prices!!

I was watching that auction intently. I thought it would be mine for $700-800. Boy was I wrong. I don't get it either??

but seriously...is it just the fairchild name? or two guys really wanted it?

I was looking at pics of Steve Berson's Fairchild and wishing I had bought it
