From what I understand, Souri's machine is extremely proprietary and you can't buy production sapphires for it unless he offers them.

I remember a couple years back i was considering picking up a vinylrecorder. I was chatting to souri about sapphire needles and he said you can get them from http://www.blanx-uk.com/ but i think you just need some form of shank adapter for the head.

Best to check with him first.
