I know its been discussed on the board before, but its been awhile, so I wanted to see which current pressing plants offers the best deals for a no frills record pressing? Just 12" records, no packaging, white labels, and white sleeves.

Thanks

This was the best deal on pressing I have found. I think you can get a master lacquer from somewhere else for $75, and probably get one step plating for under $100 if you look around and want to go out of your way for all that. Archer Record Pressing probably has a massive backorder, good luck with this.

standard lacquer pricing is around $300 for two sided 12" lacquers
I've found plating to be $185 for a 12", one step through mastercraft

I don't think you'll get much better than that

Bill Smith, in El Segundo, CA has given me satisfaction, and is fast and reasonable. I ship my lacs to Mastercraft, they forward to him. My own mastering service is very personal, and I find myself in more or less constant contact with clients throughout the sorting of the 'sound', using DropBox for exchange of source and answer files, Facebook Messenger for related banter, and often pop quick vids of the cutting process, as after all, once ya press "Begin", there isn't much to do but watch! In a sort of way, it's a bit of a working party...

I must add, Len Horowitz is a STERLING resource for all matters phonographic, and to him, I owe a huge personal debt.

Archer is probably one of the most affordable plants out there, but it seems to be that they haven't taken on new customers in almost three years
