For sale is a very compact suitcase lathe by Hara Japan for 7" discs in 33 or 45.
The Lathe is sold AS-IS because it has the following issue:
Cutting head advances fine when pressing on F.F/Back buttons but doesn't advance once on the platter area. This is some sort of transmission issue and I don't have the know-how as to how to fix it. If you want to get into the cutting game and have some technical skills this is the one for you!
Otherwise all seems fine, receives power, receives input to cutter, VU meter works, platter turns at correct speeds. Comes in a suitcase with a key, Japanese power lead (works on 100V), record clamp and original sapphire stylus with heating wire.
