Caruso Preamp & Cable: Help needed

Hi there,

I have an unfinished project here with a Caruso and a Caruso preamp. At the moment I still have a few questions, perhaps someone who has already built a Caruso preamp can help.
Right now I’m working on assembling the RC network. I’ve been referring to Flo’s document and in the first screenshot, the switch is placed in the "positive" section of the circuit, before the fuse. In the second screenhot, I’ve added lines to indicate how I believe it should be. However in this version, the switch is in the "negative" section of the circuit.
Wouldn't it be better for the circuit if the switch were positioned as in the first diagram? In the photos of the assembled RC network by flo, it seems to resemble the second diagram more.

Additionally, I’m still unsure about the cable assembly. In screenshot 3, the circuit diagram shows "Tip = FB+," but in the manual (screenshot 4), it shows "Tip = FB-." Is this an intended polarity reversal?

I’m very grateful for your help!
Regards
Joseph

put the RC network in the positive output of the amp.then the fuse.
the cutter switch in the negative is just easy to do. it does not matter where you break the circuit. but break it with a switch. and its easy to to on the speakon plu . as you anyway have to make a bridge. so use a switch and you have your cutterswitch
FB reversal is needed somewhere. depend on what amp you use. use an (official ) caruso dummy head to veryfy . otherwise you will easy destroy the head.
